Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of a Project Basead Leaning model on critical thinking skills using the media created, namely Food Chain Diorama Media, on students' critical thinking skills in science learning in elementary schools. This media was created to provide evidence regarding the influence of critical thinking. This research uses quantitative techniques with purposive sampling through experimental data collection. This research was conducted at Kesambi Elementary School in 1st and 3rd grade in class V with a population of 80 students. The results of this research, namely from the results of frequency data, can be said and proven that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve students' thinking abilities. Strengthened by the correlation test results obtained, namely 0.374 and the T Test results (0.000) < 0.05, it can be said that there is a connection between the Project Based Learning (PjBL) teaching model and students' critical thinking abilities.
