PENGARUH PENGGUNAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA KELAS IV SD NEGERI BAROS CIANJUR

This research aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the science learning outcomes of class IV at SD Negeri Baros Cianjur. This research method is pre-experimental using a one – group pretest – posttest design. The population taken was all class IV students, totaling 31 students in only one class. The data collection technique used is by using assessment or assessment of working on multiple choice questions. Based on the results of observations in class IV at SD Negeri Baros Cianjur, it was stated that before the research, students when studying seemed passive, they lacked interest and motivation to understand science in depth, and this also had an impact on students' low science learning outcomes. However, after research, students when studying appear active, enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning, motivated, students can understand the material, and their science learning outcomes can also improve. The average pretest score in the experimental class was 53.065 and the posttest score was 85.645. Based on the coefficient results of the simple linear regression test, it was obtained that t ℎitung was 4.073 > t tabel 2.022 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be explained that Ho was corrected and Ha was accepted. This means that there is an influence of variable X to variable Y. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media influences student learning outcomes in science subjects for class IV students at SD Negeri Baros Cianjur and provides an effectiveness of 36.4%.
